Maintaining my weight loss involved continuing to follow my healthy eating plan even when life was hard. My general philosophy is that we each have to find the path that works for us. For me, I had to find a way that included all my favorite foods – I don’t eliminate anything from my diet – but still allowed me to reach and maintain the weight that felt right for my body.
While losing weight using fad diets or expensive programs appeals to many people because of the seemingly quick fix, I chose to lose weight using a combination of healthy eating, portion control, and regular exercise.
I enjoy reading good books, shopping, cooking, and writing.
